ACE provides financial assistance to eligible applicants for utilization, development, and construction of alternative and clean energy products, infrastructure associated with natural gas, and energy efficiency and conservation projects.

PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)

DEP has grants and loans to assist individuals and businesses with a host of environmental issues. Whether your project is local to your community or a statewide endeavor, DEP has tools and funding to guide you along the process.

Pipeline Investment Program (PIPE)

The Pipeline Investment Program (PIPE) provides grants to construct the last few miles of natural gas distribution lines to business parks, manufacturing enterprises, and industrial complexes.

ShaleTEC

The Shale Training & Education Center (ShaleTEC) is a collaboration between the Pennsylvania College of Technology and the Penn State Extension that serves as the central resource for workforce development and education needs of the community and the natural gas industry.

Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority (PEDA)

The Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority is an independent public financing authority that funds clean, advanced energy projects. Projects that potentially qualify for funding include solar energy, wind, low-impact hydropower, geothermal, biomass, landfill gas, fuel cells, integrated gasification combined cycle, waste coal coal-mine methane, and demand management measures.

Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP)

PennTAP at Penn State is a statewide technical assistance organization helping businesses with energy and operational assessments, energy grants and rebates, and university engagement. The technical assistance provided results in the reduction of energy use, water use, hazardous materials generation, and business costs.

Local Resource Manufacturing Tax Credit Program

The PA EDGE program provides tax credits to expanding businesses in critical manufacturing sectors. Companies purchasing dry natural gas for manufacturing petrochemicals or fertilizers may qualify for the Local Resource Manufacturing (LRM) tax credit available through the PA Department of Revenue.

Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs Tax Credit Program

The PA EDGE program provides tax credits to expanding businesses in critical manufacturing sectors. Manufacturers purchasing clean hydrogen and natural gas from a Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (RCHH) many qualify for tax credits through the PA Department of Revenue.
